Collaborator of the Year Award
Guy Voss, HDR vice president and collaborative delivery leader, received the 2023 Collaborator of the Year award at the WCDA annual meeting last week. As chair of the Communications Committee, Guy was recognized for his efforts to coordinate work among all of the WCDA committees, his innate ability to "get people to get stuff done," and his tireless support of the WCDA mission.

Gratitude for Great Leaders
It is with sincere appreciation that the WCDA bids a fond farewell to two longtime members of the board of directors. Past President William O. Hixon, PE, BCEE, heads into retirement having served five years as an officer and many years as the member rep for Arcadis. Bill has been a tremendous asset to WCDA and will be greatly missed.
Stepping down from his tenure as an at-large and then outside director, Michael C. Loulakis, Esq., FDBIA, has provided thoughtful and measured counsel to the WCDA since 2018. Mike's blogs were also a source of priceless insight and guidance.
